Western Barker landowners

Western Barker Landowners Coalition is a cooperative group of neighbors in the Town of Barker, NY, formed with the purpose of drafting and negotiating favorable natural gas drilling & extraction leases with an emphasis on protecting our land’s assets, our environment and our unhindered use of the surface while allowing the possibility of long term income for our coalition landowners.

These are the final meetings for you to MAKE YOUR PRO NATURAL GAS DRILLING VIEWS PUBLIC.

November 29th at the Sullivan County Community College, Seelig Theatre, 112 College Rd, Loch Sheldrake, NY 12759

November 30th at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, 199 Chambers Street, New York, NY, 10007

Both Meeting 1:00pm to 4:00pm &
6:00pm to 9:00pm

(Take your tractor to the second.)

As it stands, the NY DEC Draft Environmental Impact Statement will NEVER allow gas drilling under your land in your lifetime.

Gov. Coumo is the only person who can make drilling possible.  He needs your presence as a show of support.

There are paid carpet baggers busing into your hometown to oppose drilling & natural gas production.

These interlopers will never walk your fields, view your scenery or drink your water.

Yet they will deny you your right to your land and its pleasures.

Who knows better about conserving your land than you, a mulit-generation farmer, who grew up on your land.

You will continue to farm with or without the natural gas royalty payments.

With the payments, you will finally have the resources for good equipment, proper fertilizers or even completely organic operations.

You will be able to provide a higher quality, stable & safe food supply for all of New York from right here in New York.

Your neighbors in Pennsylvania are reaping a great economic reward with very little environmental impact.

This permitting process has gone on long enough thank to our state government bureaucrats.

Lets all show up and help get the permit process moving so we don’t fall any further behind our friends & neighbors to the south.

If we do not succeed, this will be tied up in the courts for decades.
